A few tips

Hi kmkstar. Think you've started it here, I've got two to start it off.

1. For the 'Tipsters'.
Our members are spread all over the world and English is not always their first language. Post in this column should be in plain clear English with no texting abreviations. i.e. Many first language English will understand 'IMO' but would they understand the German 'MMN' (Meiner Meinung nach), or the Portugese 'NMO' (Na minha opinião) it's the same thing, only the languages change. It's even worse for the Chinese (在我看來). So I say let's consider the world wide view and give everyone a chance. No text talk please.

2. For the 'First timers'.
If your new heli does not have a manual get one from somewhere - read it from cover to cover. Until you know how everything works and how to repair it, keep the battery uncharged and do not attempt to fly. Ideally spend a few hours on a simulator while studying, it will help a lot in learning stick responses.
