Concerning the sound...check all screws and any connections. My belt doesn't make any sound like that. Could be a loose servo arm too.

Well, I sorted the swash behaviour and the pitch issues (thanks Ian for you VERY informative set up PDF).
So now the noise, rudder trimming and question as to if I should upgrade the fitted Airtrix 500G gyro to the brand new HK401B gyro I own remain.
Answers on a postcard to....
