I've only ever used Gens Ace, but obviously there's a lot more choice about and I know it's subjective. Looking at buying from HK, my choices are Zippy, Turnigy and Rhino (3S 2200mAh+ 25C+).

But, there's no lead sizes given (Turnigy are supposed to be overkill with 10awg). Should 12 or 14awg be sufficient i.e. about 2mm?

Anybody tried the nano-tech Turnigys? Loads of mixed reviews on nano-technology. What about the Zippy compacts (supposedly more grunt in a smaller space)?

Any feedback appreciated.

Cheers

I have not used Rhinos' but find the others excellent (all from HK). My charger does not seem to recognise the Nano-Tech high charge rate on 'balance charge' and shuts back to a 1C rate, but that may just be my charger. It is fine on rapid charge.

I do have to fit new connectors on most of the batteries (I use Deans). So far I've had no problems with the leads but the Turnigys' are quite solid.

Tom.
