Post subject: Battery for the Quark |
|
|
Hello.
Well I've been enjoying the Quark so much that the one battery pack that comes included is not enough to satisfy my flight thirst. So I checked online to buy a new battery pack.. And you know what I found? They cost... $75!!! So I guess an alternative battery would be a better option but it seems hard to find one that would fit... Does anybody know which battery would fit the Quark? |

I also want to buy a new battery pack for the Quark because yes the Hirobo one is really too expensive. I've searched around and found out that there is one particular pack that is interchangeable with the original hirobo battery.
This one: Thunder Power RC Pro Lite 730mAh 7.4V 2 Cell Li Poly 2s
As for as I know, I think that is the only battery pack that works with the Quark right now... |

Thank you very much.
I think I learnt about how this battery will fit the Quark once before while I was still waiting for it to arrive via post. Must have forgotten about it.
But yes you're right.. The connector will be something to think about.
Also.. I notice that the Thunder Power battery pack doesn't come with a balance charge cable. So I wonder how to balance the two cells. |

Maybe another option would be to find a supplier who makes custom battery packs... |
