Hey has anyone tried using a T-rex head with the Belt CP? I have read articles saying that all the parts are interchangeable but was wondering how far anyone has taking this. Very Happy I am placing a 450th motor with a castle 35 esc and hitec hs65 servos and want to be able to use align blades without sanding them down to fit the blade grips. So thanks for any info on this. Very Happy

I'd love to know this too. I've heard and read from many places that the Belt-CP's parts is interchangeable with that of a T-REX. I've always wondered if it's true. Actually, I've heard this claim so many times that it almost sounds like it was one of the Belt's sales pitch Shocked

So if anyone knows for sure, it'll be much appreciated. Laughing

I still can't be sure if T-REX part will fit in a Belt-CP (because I am not a belt pilot Razz). But check these photos out, they sure look like align parts in a Belt-CP body!

Ohh yes this definitely looks cool Wink. I think it's some sort of custom-made T-REX canopy, Raptor canopy are much bigger than these. The tail boom is definitely from Align though, you can see the logo pretty clearly. Cool

The canopy is from a X-400. I had to go back and read the threads to find that out Razz .

Here's one Belt-CP with a T-REX canopy:

The owner aptly called it a Belt-SE. Cool

Again this is from the same link.

Troyboy, now that is definitely a T-REX canopy on a belt-cp! And you've managed to match the color scheme too Razz.

You're quite an impressive fleet! ::

That's a lot of helis Wink

Hi!
I am new here, but I want to let you know that a CopterX head fits the Belt CP. I have done it! Use the same Esky rodlinks, but change the plastic links (on the rodlinks) that goes to the head.
You may also use a T-rex 450 se head, but if you do, the main shaft has to be shortened on the top. Just a few mm. Easily done with a dremel tool.
I may post some pic if it helps? I have also modified the servo linkage, with direct servo links to the head. Makes it much more stable. Very Happy
