Does anyone know the length of a Blade 400 synchromesh belt, when stretched out flat; or the dimension from front drive sprocket centre the tail drive shaft centre?

I'd like to ascertain wether one will fit a Walker dragonfly 400.

Hi Burgess I had a mate measure the belt on his Blade 400 on the helicopter it was 392mm from shaft to shaft. Can you extrapolate from that ? I was talking to him on the phone so I couldn't check the belt to see if it had details listed on it.

Hi Burgess, The mate found a new unopened belt and measured it doubled it was 402mm doubled so that would probably be 805 mm total.

Thanks Keith, unfortunately they're too long, I'm looking for alternatives for my Walkera Dragonfly 400s, the belts on the heli are approx 365mm shaft to shaft. They are available state-side but prohibitive delivery charges. I have used a T-rex 450 tail-boom gearbox on one hybrid and that presents some CG problems not too difficult to over-come. So I'm considering shaft-drive conversion the problem is the proximity of the main drive gear to the tail drive sprocket. Brushless tail motor might be another alternative.
