Post subject: cnc tail upgrade problems please help! |
|
|
i posted this previoulsy in the last topic but it was kind of off topic of my first ?. so anyways my dad and myself both got cnc tails for our CP's. his blue and mine the purple one. little differently made but the result is the same. both of ours spins counterclockwise now when throttle is applied uncontrollably. it is in the REV mode that it orriginally came in on both the transmitter and the gyro. ive tried a few things that ive found on forums like moving the tail servo. nothing seems to fix the issue. thanks in advance for any help! _________________ belt cp v1, cnc head/tail, stock Tx/Rx, hitec hs-56hb tail servo |

I think the gyro is set to the wrong direction.
Here's a simple test. set the heli on a table.. turn on the power and let the gyro initialize.. Then.. pull just the tail of the heli towards you. What you should see is your tail servo (the linkage part) pushing away from you.
On the other hand, if you push the tail of the heli away from you, the servo linkage should be pushing towards you.
Hope that wasn't confusing. I was confused the first few times I heard it but it really is the best way (in my opinion) to test weather your servo is going the right way. |

hey thanks alot ill give it a try! so just curious if this is the problem what should i do to fix it? it came RTF in the REV mode and to get it not to spin around i have to have it in the NOR mode. it just seems wierd that just cuz i changed the tail to the cnc one i would have to switch that. _________________ belt cp v1, cnc head/tail, stock Tx/Rx, hitec hs-56hb tail servo |
