Finallly got the six chanell Walkera V400 DO2. First trick out of the hat was a reall bad crash. Rebuilt as best I could and went for the test flight./
Got a lot to learn about six channel birds. This time I took out the rear motor mount..
Also, it kind of leans to the right when powering up, can adjust with trim, but just want to come up clean and hover. Not looking for 3D at this time, ;forward backward left right will be great. My little syma is a great remedey inside. No trouble with that one!!! Even my big coaxial has had a thousand craches, and notheing wrong at all. One crash with the cp, and I am down for a month. I know I am new to this, but why do the more expensive models have more damage on a crash? It is a good thing Parts are so inexpensive. But now I am down till I get Rear rotor connector and not everyone carries the parts. Good thing I am a good patiant person. Just really chaps my a&%## that I can't get hold of this thing/.
Oh well, enough moaning. Just really frustrated at this point... Sorry to unload on you guys. Just need some help and relief. C Ya

Hey Ric ,yeah , way more damage to a 6ch . Mostly because of the greatly higher head speed of them .Wooden blades ......[they break easily and damage is reduced generally to a minimum ] .When I first started flying 6ch no expense was spared ,eg carbon fibre blades alloy parts and such .These things are mostly for the accomplished pilots .I still buy woodies . Laughing And then it's all setup ,setup ,setup .Be absolutely meticulous .When you crash you can blame something else . Embarassed

Thanks Lightning!! Appreciate the comeback. Not giving up, just frustrated. Got the new tail piece ordered, and also the training kit I should have gotten before.
Thanks again for the info, and have a good week...
