I was looking at a YouTube video of a Blade CX2 with what looked like the upgrade carbon boom. It had a functional tail rotor. A. I don't understand how that works because of the counter rotational blades. B. Does the tail rotor spin simply to make it look better? I'm sorry I did not save the URL. If I find it again, I'll post it.

I have the upgraded tail kit for my cx and it has a little tail rotor on it that makes it look like the real thing.
If it spins freely enough, it will spin from the prop wash as you fly the heli around. That's what mine does.

That's what mine does....LOL
That is just wind blowing the rotor around. It's the same tail I have.
If you put a tail rotor on a cx it would not fly, it would just spin around.
The rotors already counter act the spin, anything else would just push it around.

Ok. Thanks for the responses. It looked like it was "functional" in the video which didn't make any sense to me.
