My son got a CX3 for Christmas this year and the other day he made his first attempt to fly outside. He said that some wind flipped his heli over and it landed on the blades (upside down) He came home and recharged the battery and now the heli will not lift off the floor..... Nothing seems to be bent. We have upgraded the heli to a alum swash, alum lower rotor head, and the tail boom kit with the sport canopy. Any help would be great. Thanks

Hi nofx_boden,

Need more information, do the blade spin, do the servos respond to the Tx.

There are several possible problems with the limited information supplied.

1. Blades are loose on there respective shafts.
2. 3 in 1 is burnt out because the throttle was not shut down when it tipped over.
3. Motor pinion has moved on the shaft and does not mesh with Gear.

The more you can tell us the easier it is for us to help you.

Sorry about that.

Yes the blades spin freely and nothing seems bent.
Yes the servos respond to the TX
Blades are not loose on the respective shafts
Not sure if the throttle was shut down
Motor pinion looks good to me the gears seem to be meshing with the gears.

It there a way to test the 3 in 1?

Hi nofx_boden,

You have been rigt through the list good, sounds to me like the either the battery is not getting enough charge or the gear on the inner shaft, thats the bottom gear is not tight on the shaft, and they need to be real tight.

The upgrade should not have effected it I did the same to my CX2 when I had it and had no noticable effect on performance.
