So night before last, I`m hovering around in a slight breeze outside
with the 120 SR. Out of nowhere it does a perfect 360 & continues
to hover. Almost like a radio glitch. So Im thinking of landing and
it did it again. I land it, pick it up and look it over. Looks fine.
This model has only had 7 or 8 flights. Finished out that battery
and put it on the bench. Next morn. I go to fly it...... no tail motor.
Had to buy the whole tail boom assembly to get the motor. It`s fixed
now, but WTH. |

Did the motor come apart or just burn out? I know tail motors are prone to failure, but they usually last much longer then just a few runs. I'd stock up on replacement motors when they become available, just in case. |

No, it didn`t come apart. Just quit. The motor only was not in
stock near me. the complete loaded boom assem. was $17.00
and tax, so the motor alone can`t be much, and a 3 minute
fix. A friend of mine has had His for a long time w/no probs. |
