Saludos:
I received my 9104 on the January five. On the sixth, on Three Kings Day, like all children, I went out to play with my new toy. At first I was a little bit disappointed because the size was about 22 inches instead of the 28 inches advertised by the seller.
The mayden flight went well enough. It flew high and far enough and I did not have any problems with range. The problem is that it is very difficult to make it go forward. We had a lot of fun and of course we crashed it a couple of times.
A decorative spar was broken. But nothig critical was damaged. It is rough enough to survive a couple of hard landings. I will be doing the modifications to the swash plate and servo arm. I already ordered the replacements. I guess fixing broken parts making mods is part of the hobby. So far it has been a lot of fun.
It somebody has a suggestion on how to make a battery change easier, I will
appreciate very much.
I just hope that all of you enjoy this so much as I do. |

I am able to fly at about 100 feet altitude and about a 300 to 500 feet range. |

I hear that moving the battery under the canopy rather than inside it, and holding it on with velcro works very well and it makes battery changes a whole lot easier - of course you see the battery. Also that way you can move it forward which helps make it go forward faster. Also another mod which extends flight time is to get a larger mahr battery rather than the stock 1300 mahr one. It is a bit heavier but the bird has the power to lift it you can mount it a bit forward too if mounted underneath. |
