Great shame as it would deter younger inexperianxed flyers.

Hi Folks
I used to always have full RC Flight Insurance and yes all models had at least two address notes adheared to the models.
The one that got away, well although I agree is a model helecopter I was in my garden and was hovering around 8' in a 50' x 50' grassed area and never in my wildest dreams thought it would radio fail.. I did trim as much as I could in my lounge before taking it outside.
I am disabled and only have one full thumb and two little fingers and other stuff but needless to say the S107G or 6 flies very well and I just took this one out of the box and I took the photos whilst flying so my lousy hands still work ok.. and trouble flying towards me.
I won't be putting my address on this one as it will remain inside ha ha

I also got a DH9104 and tried to fly it this weekend. I gunned it and got it off the ground so it wouldn't skid sideways but the controls didn't control very well - more like suggestions on where the Heli should go. Mine also had a mind of it's own and flew into my garage roof, into trees and rotated around whenever it felt like. It also seems to cut out occasionally and I have the antenna spread out- not just wound around the small straw as it was delivered. I too have the problem of it not wanting to go forward too well so I moved the battery forward and tried extra weights which kind of worked but not as well as I had hoped.
I gotta say though with all the crashing it is still working so it is fairly durable - about the only good thing I can say about it.
I agree with the other advice - say your money and buy a better one - min 4 channels. Oh well - when I do get a better one - with the experience I have trying to keep this bird flying, I should be an ace with one that is more responsive to control (I hope anyway). |

I have a double horse 9104 as my first heli and i have to say did crash it up quite a bit learning on it i got caught by the wind badly it does not fly well in wind. Rebuilt it and had it flying nice whacked on a SJM metal swashplate. this will give more control range once set correctly. The control rods connect up slighty differently but is easily done and they share the same mainshaft diameter (4MM) SJM 400 . New mainshaft new head flybar and on third tail motor which i plan to replace with an esky cp3 tail motor? Dont know how that will go. I had it hovering hands off tho with new swash until tail motor spazd out.Maybe lipos im using delivering too much too a crap motor? If i can sort the tail problem will be a good learner failng that will rename something else da horse perhaps |

Oh yeah those tail motors get real hot as they encased in plastic apart from one end. I can't be certain but i think the heat melted the motor wires and reversed its polarity sending heli out of control spinning !! No tail no nothing eh |
