Post subject: Dx6i throttle hold w/ MCPX |
|
|
Hi to all.
When i hit the throttle hold with my mcpx the blades go negative pitch
all the way.
Is there a way to set throttle hold to a less neg pitch ?
Cheers

I know on the DX7 one can set the pitch range for Normal, Idle Up 1 and Idle Up 2 as well as pitch range for Throttle Hold. I have mine set for 50% pitch across the board in Throttle Hold and that gives me 0 deg pitch. Makes it easy to check for a level swash set that way. I'd think the 6i would be the same, but can't say for sure as I don't own one. _________________ Next Level 650 Quad Copter, T-Rex 500, 450SEv2 & 250

It is D T, but I like to set mine the same as the 'Idle Up' pitch curve. Makes it better for practise autorotation landings and pre-flight checks.

From what you say Mike - "Full -ve at throttle hold" - your DX6i is set like mine.
Does the pitch change as you push the throttle forward with 'Hold' on? I have full -ve to full +ve on mine at throttle hold. Always give the servos (pitch & cyclic) a good check this way before any take off.

The blade MCPX pitch can be dramatically change if the position of the main gear has altered. Before altering the transmitter make sure the gear is correct position. |
