Where are most buying this bit of kit from? I looked at Xheli - cheap enough but then $50 shipping. Rip-off.

On eBay, $25 (€19) delivered (no tracking from HK.) Can't seem to find them in the UK/Europe.

Looking at building a T-Rex in summer, but thought I'd start with a sim (Dynam + Clearview) in the meantime.

Cheers

Here you go with a firm I find very reliable:

The sim is the very poor but free FMS. It does not even start to compare to ClearView, (and that's not because I now administer the ClearView Forum).

They do have a warehouse in Germany a little more than the HK price - but they have very expensive 'small parcel' shipping charges as they only use a carrier. Much cheaper from China/Hong Kong. (i.e. Shipping for 2 x 180mAh 2cell batteries; Germany-Portugal $40 USD, Hong Kong-Portugal $2.99 USD)

Thanks, tombo. I saw those earlier - suppose they're clones or rebadged Dynams.

Either way, they're more expensive overall than off eBay, but then for the sake of €6,00... Laughing

All the 6 channel controllers are the same make just badged differently. I intend moding mine to have either a switch for 'Idle up/Normal' or the pot for variable geometry planes. Trying to turn the knob while controlling a heli is not easy and as I don't take off in 'Idle up' for real I don't like doing it on the sim. Cool

Just needs a couple of these switches. I like to keep a spare in hand for the DX6i in case one gets damaged in a fall. Last time it fell off the neckstrap (adjusters came loose - now sewn solid) onto the tiles and broke the 'Flap/Gyro' switch. Shocked
