Hi team,

Great site and I am enjoying reading your posts. I am loving my first helicopter experience. I put in about 10hrs on the sim before flying and I have pretty much got control in the garage.

However it is weird that the E-500 has a tendency once trimmed out to begin to fly in a circle. Not a spin but it goes in a circle about 3 meters wide.

Any ideas?

Also I am keen to hear your thoughts about flying outside with this model. I have searched for a max wind limit but can't find answers.

Thanks in advance, I appreciate the help.

Hello and welcome ajwombat,
It would seem you are suffering what is commonly called "toilet bowl effect" . Go to this site for a detailed explanation. http://www.rchelicopterfun.com/toilet-bowl-effect.html
Flying out side with your model will only be possible in very calm conditions. Coax models will get blown away even quite gentle wind.

Took it back to the shop and they have installed some new blades, I broke them on a flight, and re set-up.

Was told it was fine and did not have TBE, must be pilot error. Funny how it now works when I fly it Smile

Anyway, thanks guys for your help, don't think they would of helped unless I new what to quote.

Thanks again.
