hi,
managed my first hover today...great
couple of questions you guys could help me with...
my rudderl, fitted with an align 780 h/h gyro seemed to be working ok (no wind though) but the stick was way too sensitive, tried adding expo on the tx but it didn't seemed to make any difference, how can I make the rudder less sensitive ?
The aileron and elevator controls were the opposite...sluggish with no expo added, as a learner I've got pitch settings at -1..6...11 any idea's please guys ?
thanks |

Check your other thread about the gyro answer.
I am at a loss about your cyclic. If you want tp speed it up take off the flybar weights if you are running them. Crank up the head speed, this will make is respond faster. Running a longer flybar, 220mm is the best, or more aggresive paddles. I like the gorrilla paddles, or Curtis Stubz. Also how many degrees are you running on the cyclic. In my 450 I run 8deg on the cyclic and 12deg on the collective. Play with the settings in the Swash AFR part of the radio to get the settings you want. And, no they don't have to match.
IE: Aleron 65
Elevator 65
Pitch 65
They won't match and the heli will be fine.
I think for mine, it was like 80, 70, 67 |

I found the problem....futaba is opposite to JR so you add negative expo for a softer centre stick...I forgot and was adding positive.
I learnt from your reply though as it was great info...thks |
