I have a dragonfly #40 i bought secondhand. The controller came with the serial lead to connect to pc but no disc. Is there any flight sims that will work on my controller its the same one as the #36. |

Hi,
Re Controller for a Sim:
First thing to check (assuming you are using a windows OS,) is whether your controller will be accepted as a 'PPM' controller by windows.
Do this by plugging it into your computer and in 'Control Panel' find the 'Games Controller', click on this and if PPM is shown set up the controller. If not you are probably out of luck for the easy set-up.
Assuming you have the PPM setting then my personal recommendation is ClearView. The latest versions are way beyond the early ones and a lifetime license is only $39.95 USD. You can download a limited-time trial version for free and if that is OK the upgrade number will be sent by email on payment of the fee.
Checkout ClearView here. There is also an excellent ClearVew forum.
There will be other sugestions - this is just my personal choice, I use it far more than the others I have on my computer. I have also made many models for it, a selection of them are on the site for download.

That's the same controller that I use with it, just has a different label on mine.
Works well with Aerofly Pro also, not that I use Aerofly very much only when I want to fly the old biplanes, but ClearView is catching up there rapidly.

Hi Tom,
I like to fly the C-130 in sim.
Does the C130 in ClearView is possibly on the wrong parameter when compare to the C130 in Aerofly ?
Especially the lift and speed. I think the C130 in Aerofly is look normally what it should be.
How can I correct that?
