A word of warning to newbies wanting to turn your CX into a military grade flying machine by loading it up with all the nifty aluminum CNC upgrade parts available. Aluminum swashplate is worth the effort, but stay away from a lot of the other stuff. I changed out all the plastic I could for CNC stuff and the thing ends up too heavy. It is very stable, but eats battery like a mother! |

Not sure how a mother eats a battery but a weight increase will certainly decrease filght time.
One day I'll catch up with the current jargon. It's like I'm still with jazz man!

South'rin expression.

Me thinks in the south they don't have any 'G's in the alphabet. |

the word would actually be big'un or even big'n.
the whole thing reminds me of a simpson's episode where they had a quote from jebediah springfield that went something like
"a noble spirit embiggins the smallest man"

Good advice, it is tempting to add some bling to the machine. Carbon fiber frame sounds like a good first step upgrade. I started with the carbon fiber frame upgrade on my 120SR. Ordered a Blade CX2 and I'm considering the frame upgrade on that as well; my first upgrade.

How would you pronounce Edward Woodward's name if there were no ds in the alphabet?....Ewar Woowar...
A GP goes into the bar just down the road from his surgery and orders a Hickory Dackery and then goes home. One night he goes in and orders his drink, and takes a sip, and said the the barman, "Hey Jake, is this a Hickory Dackery?" Jake replies, "No it's a Hickory Dickory doc". ' ' |
