Post subject: gyro problem on a honeybee king 2 carbon edition |

Hi everyone, I am new to r/c electric heli`s and could do with some help.
In the manual it say`s that when you first connect up the battery the red light on the gyro will rlash red before then turning steady green, however mine flashes red and then goes to steady red not changing to steady green as suggested, am I doing something wrong.
Also the manual shows how to set or check the pitch for full stick, half stick and when the stick is right back, however how do you stop the rotors from turning when using a pitch guage , and also the manual gives a different setting for idle and normal, but I am not sure what the difference is between idle and normal.
Your help would be gratefully appreciated. |

Disconnect the motor leads when doing the pitch setup, otherwise you might end up missing an eye or two. I'm not joking, almost happened to me once
I don't own a Honeybee myself, but maybe others in this group may be of some help with your other questions. Good Luck _________________ Next Level 650 Quad Copter, T-Rex 500, 450SEv2 & 250

Make sure that the throttle is all of the way off before you connect the battery(.Transmitter on first always) you may even have to turn the throttle trim down to get the green light. _________________ I know it will fly... Says so on the box. |

Hi all, slightly old newb here with a problem. Been trying to fly my HBK2 for over a year, some days are good, some aren't.
All of a sudden, I'm getting no yaw control at all, servo works fine sometimes. My gyro flashes a constant red after spooling up to speed.
Could it be that I need a new gyro or a handy guro?
Cheers, |
