G'day Mick,

This wag is usually caused by the gyro gain being set too high.

The remedy is to reduce it at little at a time trying the lower settings in short hops. Knock it down by say 1% until it's almost gone then by 0.5% until it has gone. Usually it can be done on one battery, you only need to lift off try a flick of rudder and watch for the wag. If wagging, land, reduce the gain and try once more. Good fun, no sweat and lots of lift off and landing pratice.

The idea is to have as high a gain as possible without the wag.

Tom.

Tom is right about the gain part, but to answer your question, if there is any stickyness in the tail you will have a wag, lowering the gain will slow it down but it will not go away completely.
