Here you go. Full metal Xtreme rotor head plus Bell Hiller mixer. Fibre reinforced blades. Esky 3 in 1 connected to Orange RX (now on my DX6i). Main and tail motor fuse mod. Power slide switch. CP3 main motor and CP3 direct drive tail rotor set up. Used an old aluminium arrow shaft for the tail boom, perfect fit and cost £0.00

Really happy with this bird. Once dialed in it is prone to impressively long hands free hovering. Having said that I don't let my hands wander far because when it slides, it slides away fast!

The CP3 tail motor and direct drive blade work really well, the proportional setting is dialed way back and the motor doesn't seem to be working too hard. Made sure the tail motor has a generous heat sink and the main motor has two.

Makes a nice main blade "buzz/fupping" sound, only the higher pitch tail wrenches it away from a scale sound. This doesn't feel all that different from a BIG SR120 except that it doesn't self level. That's fine with me, gives me more to do. I enjoyed wrestling this second hand crash test dummy into good shape again. Now, where's that AS355 fuselage and those LAPD stickers I made up?.....

Now that looks really good Tom, you might be able to source a sub-miniature sound system to get that authentic chopper main blade sound.

I like the engineering side of the hobby too, I've got a so-called three and a half-channel coaxial Salvation 2 Lama -bubble cockpit and open frame tail- stored away some where, keep thing of doing a conversion to single main rotor and either a shaft tail or an electric drive, was given a 4-in-1, may be get into that after I've sorted this five-blade main rotor head project.
