Hi everyone, I am new to r/c electric heli`s and could do with some help.
In the manual it say`s that when you first connect up the battery the red light on the gyro will rlash red before then turning steady green, however mine flashes red and then goes to steady red not changing to steady green as suggested, am I doing something wrong.
Also the manual shows how to set or check the pitch for full stick, half stick and when the stick is right back, however how do you stop the rotors from turning when using a pitch guage , and also the manual gives a different setting for idle and normal, but I am not sure what the difference is between idle and normal.
Your help would be gratefully appreciated. |

The HBK2 gyro doesn't flash green when ready, just the steady red (call it very bad chinese translation)
Disconnect the power plug for the motor-battery, this will allow you to still power up the servos (after connecting the battery) and check your angles with a pitch gauge.

Hi Johnboy,
Derekby is quite right in his post, your other answers are:-
Idle up is the 'stunt mode' for inverted and other flight, while normal is the hovering/landing mode.
In idle up you have full power at low stick with full negative pitch; and full power and positive pitch at high stick allowing the stunts to be peformed.
In normal you usually have a small negative pitch at low stick to bring it down through transitional lift in a gust and full positive pitch at high stick to climb out of trouble.
