Post subject: Honeybee King III owners - blade pitch settings |
|
|
I have recently been experimenting with the blade pitch settings on the HBK3 to get the perfect hover, as information on this subject is hard to find.
How I achieved the perfect hover, disconcerted the three motor wires, turned on the transmitter, and then plugged in the battery after initialization moved the throttle stick half way, set the Hov.Pit knob to zero, or fully anticlockwise.
Set my pitch gauge to seven degrees. Removed the two blade links, sliding the pitch gauge over one blade, then twist each link till the pitch gauge was level with flybar by eye, pushing the link on ball head to secure.
The fly bar paddles where also set to seven degrees. I found zero pitch to be to twitchy.
Full battery hover with or without gyro hold.
