I want to be able to charge up more than 1 pack at a time with my B6 charger.

It has various balance charge sockets capable from 1 to 6S plugs.

It has only 1 set of power leads to my Deans connector.

You need to connect both balance and power leads of the LiPo to charge / test. Balance lead is feeding data of pack condition, power leads doing the charging.

So if I want to charge 2 3S packs ? How to do it ? I reckon a 6S balance plug with split lead to connect 2 3S packs to ... that solves the balance plug to B6 .... but what about the power side ? It's expecting to see 6 cells in series ... so would it work to create a series lead to bridge two packs into a 6S set-up ?

Ideas ? solutions ? Anyone else solved this ?

Yes ME! Laughing

I use this lead from HK. Works a treat with my B6 charger. It sees one 6 cell battery (there is a link built in) and will happily balance charge it. You do have to use the same capacity batteries, but that is rarely a problem.

I've also built a lead for charging two x 2 cell batteries as well, no probs there either.

Tom.

I have a really simple way to charge three batteries at once.
One big power supply with three 6s balance chargers attached to it.
Works a treat. Cool
