So I finally get out to the field on Sun after the rain and wind stop and get to do some flying. It's been a couple of weeks with all the crappy weather.
I am on my 7th flight with the Velocity and she is running sweeeeet...
I decide to bring it lower, I am doing nose in flips just a few feet off the deck and feeling really good, I take my last flip and as I exit it nose down I start doing a really nice nose down funnel, my friend standing beside me was blown away, and says he wished he'd grabbed his camera.. Then it happens, as I try to exit the manuver I totally over loaded the head and bogged the heli big time. It just dropped from the sky, luckily only a few feet up but it still fell hard. I was suprised that I did not bend the usual stuff like the main shaft, feather shaft and such. Instead it bends little stupid things. Swash follower, linkage arms on the blade grips things like that. Total damage, 127.46. OUCH!!
I figured it's been almost a year simce my last crash, and well over 300 flights, so I can't really complain. But it still hurts...

Hey Admiral I like the way you add that up.. But don't forget to add the 40 bucks a week that I spend in fuel...
Well I got my parts today and she is all back together.
I need to get a pair of those camera spy glasses I've seen on ebay. The camera on the hat brim does not work to well. Too hard to tell what it's seeing. I hope that I can keep her in the air for another 300 flights.
