Hello everybody,
I recently got into rc helicopters, first a mini one and now without any knowledge of rc mechanics, I have bough myself a 250 model and the assorted components make it fly. Unfortunately I'm not sure a) how to put them together and b) if the servos, gyro, receiver, transmitters, battery, motor and speed controller are all compatible.

If anybody is willing to run me through the steps or at least point me in the right direction I would very much appreciate the help.
I hope to fly soon! [/b]

Well Hi jejejejejeff and welcome from Portugal,

You've certainly come to the right place for help here. First we need to know the model of the heli and the types of servos and gyro that you have - can't say much without good info.

We will need to check the actual dimensions and power ratings of all the gear, so as much info as you can give will help a lot. On what you have told us all I could say is "Put it together and see!" Even a photo of all the parts with the reference numbers clearly visable would be a big help.

Tom.

Hi Jejejejejeff,

Welcome to the forum.

This should help, there are plenty of build videos on Youtube

Just my twopence worth a 250 is not a good beginners helicopter, I've had a couple of them and they are much harder to fly than a 450, they are very twitchy.

Hello jejejejejeff and welcome to the forum from Wales UK

Good advise from Tom and Keith, I would add you will need a pitch gauge and swashplate levelling tool suitable for a 250.

Well now kamkaro,

This is a direct copy of a part of my original post!

I know you're only trying to help - but have you noticed that this thread is over a year old. He will have either solved the problem or given up and bought something else by now. Best to check the dates before jumping in and don't copy other peoples' posts without acknowledging them.

Just a little advise from an old timer.

Tom.
