Post subject: Just bought a Belt CP RTF... what upgrades should I get |

My wife purchased me a toy copter for christmas from Brookstone... on the 2nd charge the back rotor broke and my christmas toy was dunzo. Those 15 minutes or so I got to actually fly it around made me want to get into the hobby. I've been lurking on the boards for about a week now I decided to purchase a BELT CP RTF on ebay. I'm still waiting for the package to arrive but I have a habit of getting a hobby and diving right in.
What are some things I should puchase for the stock Belt CP RTF to help me begin. I already puchased a SIM, and the training kit for the copter.
One annoying thing about the toy copter was the charge times. I'd have to charge the battery for 3 hours for a 10 minute flight. I used to race RC cars as kid and charges would only take 15 minutes for I'd imagine a larger battery (9cell)
I've honestely never seen the belt CP in person, only on videos and pictures so I have no real idea of what to expect. |

BTW, a little superglue works wonders on those back rotors. _________________

That sucks. Those little tiny ones are fun to irritate the cat with... _________________

fluidimagery i would say get extra blades frt & back, main gear and wait to see if upgrades are what you NEED to fly. if you can fly upgrade the main rotor head parts to start _________________ littonmb@aol.com |
