Hey Guys,
Who's got a Lama 400D or maybe just a Lama 400? When you are looking down on the copter, tail in, which servo is which? I accidentially unplugged the two servo wires from the receiver and am not sure which goes where
So, if any of you geniuses out there can look under your canopy and let me know it might prevent a somewhat spectacular flight of probably very short duration
Oh and by the way, I received my new Lama 3 today and just took it out of the box! Any tips from lama 3 owners?
Tnx

Far as I know Pappy, it's the same as the Big Lama: Elevator left, Aileron right, as you look down at it from the tail.

I would probably be lazy and just plug them in randomly and do a control test; then swap if necessary. _________________ Align: Trex 250 3GX + Trex 450 Pro with Vbar

Look at the swash plate after you plug in and activate the the servos only. Aileron should tilt the plate left and right. Elevator, which gives you forward and back directions should tilt swash plate front and back. I could be wrong, but these are the movements on my copters, regardless of make and model.

Sorry Magyarbacsi, but this is not true for a co-axial, the rotor is tilted at 45º to the required action allowing for the gyroscopic action on the rotor and the levelling action of the top rotor. Therefore the swash will tilt at 45º with the selected servo and both aileron and elevator will tilt the swash. However, this tilt will be at 45º to the C/L but in different directions. Not as you say side/side and backwards/forewards.

Thanks Guys. Appears as Elev(L) and Aile(R) is the correct assembly. Wonder what sort of aerobatics I would have accomplished if I had reveresed them? _________________ You can teach and Old Dog New Tricks -or-
