Post subject: LamaV4 Xtreme upgrade weight problem!!!! |

Has anybody adding the xtreme parts(tail boom assembly) to their lama v4 and noticed it would always want to fly backwards?? Even witht it trimmed forward to the max???? Adding the tail to the lama v4 gives it extra weight towards the rear of the heli. The lama v4 is made with the motors on both sides of the blade assembly extra weight on either side of the heli(front or back) will effect the weight and balance and its ability to go forward or backward. The xtreme parts were made for the blade cx2 initially. It has both motors in the front and any extra weight on the back of it wont make much difference. I've been wrecking my brain trying to figure out why my lama was no longer flying right. After a visit to the local hobbyshop and talking to the heli expert there, he took a look at my great looking lama v4 with the xtreme upgrades. And after many hours of of twiking and tuning. The weight balance problem was still there. Has anybody found a solution to this problem?????? |

Umm, I have to say if the upgrade isn't working and even a pro can't get it to work then there is definitely something wrong with the upgrade parts. This could be that the upgrade model is a fault or you might just have gotten an defective piece. In any case, if once you installed an upgrade and your helicopter flies worse that it did before... then you should try to get your money back because it's the opposite result of what you were after.
After all, it's the results we are paying for... _________________ Rat 2 Mole becomes Rat 2 Fly |

It is a balance problem. Check this picture the battery is hanging very far forward in its holder.
Poor balance = poor flight _________________ Keep Smiling |
