Post subject: Main Rotar Replacement |
|
|
Well, it finally happened. After 4 months of flying, I've had my first major crash and broke a main rotar blade. It had to happen.
My question is, is it recommended I repalce BOTH rotar blades or is it only necessary to replace the broken one? |

Hi Balcv,
You need to check the'undamaged' one VERY carefully. If you have a truely matching blade then she'll be right, but otherwise forget it. Mismatched blades, however slight, means a crook heli cobber.

+ 1 on that Tom ,Balcv I will always replace both main blades in the future [after my experience with a wayward CF blade] . Check them over VERY carefully if you intend to re-use them and match them well. _________________ amatuers built the ark, professionals built the titannic. |
