I have the blade MCX and it came with the MLP4DSM radio. I was wondering if that radio will work if I buy the blade 120 SR bnf. Thank you for your help in this matter.

Yes you can. You will need to bind the 120 to your transmitter which is a simple process described in the manual. The MLP4DSM is only a single memory radio so it can only be bound to one model at a time so if you want to use the mcx again you will have to do a rebind. Its easy to bind but if you plan to get more models it would be a good idea to upgrade to some thing like a DX6i which has ten memories each with there own individual settings. You should have some fun with the 120sr its a nice little heli i have had two of them since they first came out and still fly them regularly. |

Ha carr;
chopper54 is right on! By all means make your next heli a 120SR, Great Heli for starting out as well as an indoor flyer for advanced pilots when the weather outside turns bad.
Love my 120SR! My CX3 just gathers dust on the shelf since I got the 120SR. Any little goof and the CX2 I had or the CX3 I now have it would be off to the hobby shop for new blades, main shaft & gears
Haven't broken anything as of yet on the 120SR.
If it's in your budget get the DX6i or maybe even a DX7 if you think you might be into the hobby with both feet now. If not, then get the 120SR RTF. _________________ Next Level 650 Quad Copter, T-Rex 500, 450SEv2 & 250

Howdy from South Carolina, thanks for all the input folks. The 120 it is then. Yeah I've been loking at the DX 6i transmitter. It doesn't cost that much. I bought a 4 channel Novus 125 FP last november and today was the first time I got to fly it and then only for a few minutes. I didn't feel up to going to the soccer park so I just gave it a quick trip around the yard. Too many trees in my yard to really enjoy so it will have to wait till tomorrow. At least I didn't nail a tree today. Did that yesterday with the DH 9100. It's toast. Thanks for the help guys.
