Post subject: Mounting Battery for correct CG |
|
|
Hey guys, Newbie here, just got a belt cp v2 and am loving it, i picked up a walkera 4# about 2 weeks ago and while not really flying it, i realized that it was better to upgrade to a more balanced heli, I could hover it okish but the Belt is way easier to do the same limited hover that i could barely do on the walkera.
anyway, with the stock battery in the Belt do you mount the battery sticking out of the cage or stick it all the way back into the receptacle. with it in, it seems the tail hangs low when suspended from the flybar. I've set it forward till the CG is what i think is even and it seems better but i wanted to ask here.
thanks in advance

Hi kiwi Dan on my belt cp I use a foam block about one inch square behind the battery to balance the copter. Don't have my tx handy but the gyro sw needs to be on the red light should be on. Welcome to the forum. Lane _________________ first to the scene of the crash

You want the Gyro switch to be in the "0" position for Heading Hold mode. The TRN switch is the trainer, used for hooking your transmitter up with someone else's. _________________ Align: Trex 250 3GX + Trex 450 Pro with Vbar
