Hey thankyou for the responses. I think I am destined to be $A500 poorer (cost plus freight).
I get a buzz out of reading this forum, it has a really positive vibe and is packed with information for us newbies. Thanks again. I'll go look at the learner section now. |

I've been looking around for a B 450x and can't find one. Seems they are all 'Out Of Strock'. Even Horizon Hobby.
I'll have to keep watching.

I too have a Blade 400 that I absolutely love to fly. Although I have graduated to an Align 500 and am currently building an Align 550 I still enjoy the occasional flight with the Blade 400. It is also the biggest heli I can fly indoors at the local indoor site. So even though I'm kind of going on to bigger heli's I think E-Flyte makes some real good products and ones that im proud to own and that includes a Blade SR. _________________ Blade 400

Post subject: Blade 450 Flybarless Conversion Kit |
|
|
Blade Helis and Horizon show a flybarless conversion kit for the Blade 450. Cost is reasonable, but it doesn't include the electronics, just the head. Estimated to be available in late March.
Based on the cost of a Gaui GU-365, Microbeast, etc., it will probably be cheaper to buy a new Blade 450 X from ampdraw.com and sell your flybarred bird than it will be to convert it.
The Tarot head is supposed to fit the B450 if you cut a little off the shaft.
Of course, for a little more, you can buy an Align T-Rex 450 flybarless super combo and build a better bird.
No end to the possibilities and costs of this hobby. _________________ Blade MSR, 120SR, MCP-X, 450 |
