Post subject: RealFlight Serial number.... where is it??? |
|
|
I have the G2 version. I lost my CD case w/ the serial number some time ago. I do have the controller number (taped to the back) I do remember installing it before w/o having the serial. I had to pull it out from the disk. I just can't remember where it was. Do any you folks happen to know where to look? I have a new PC and do not have this installed.

OnceDown, I made a copy of your post and moved it to the main discussion forum, that way it'll get more attention from going on the homepage . (the old post is still where you had it also though).
I am not at my home computer right now so I can't look at my G3.5 for you. But I think you should try calling KnifeEdge's customer's support. They should be able to trace back your serial by using your interlink serial.
I'll get back to you as soon as I have my disc on hand.
Meanwhile, good luck with the call. |

Hey OnceDown, sorry to tell you that I came back home to check it out for you on my disc but I couldn't find it. Check your private messages though.
By the way, did you have any luck with the call center? |

The email reply asked for more info (that I can't remember) so I called. I recieved a serial thats covers all the G2 games but does not allow you to register for updates. The proper link (which I deleted) came in an email. I do have the file saved if you would like to use FTP or something. The key is: [censored by Admin to prevent legal issues]. Thanks agian for the info. I've been spending so much time on the sim, the wife is starting to worry (the lawn isnt being mowed). _________________

Congratulations OnceDown I didn't think the support would be that helpful actually. So that's a thumbs up to GreatPlane too
I had to censor the serial number out to prevent any legal issues.
Thanks for sharing your experience with us though. Now we know the channel to recover our realflight serials. |

The number they gave out was just a "free for all". Which is why you can't register your game. I found the link for the game update.

Ohh oops sorry I censored the number then. I didn't know it was free for all.
Thank you very much for the download link and your inputs. |
