Post subject: Renovation : Lama V4 |
|

My old Esky Lama V4 had problem it often jaming in flight.
I though about the radio system(transmitter/receiver 35 MHz).
I would like to have a bird to fly smoothly indoor or outdoor (no wind) for relaxation.
So I renovated the Lama V4 to the followings :
- Change to xtream version : rotor blades, motors, gears.
- Change the radio system to 2.4 GHz using my common transmitter(FS-TH9X).
Now I get the smooth flying, easy trimming bird. Happy flying.

Good move platinum, 2.4gHz and a programmable Tx makes quite a difference. I've upgraded all my aircraft onto it now, Only problem is running out of model space, 10s' the limit but often one of them is in for a major refit so I might be able to cope with 11.

The Lama V4 orange body with 3 LED is in my stock now.
The one peice orange body is more dfficult to remove and install than the old one.
Require to remove the stabilizer set and both blade sets (same as the Big Lama).
I prefer the original two peice body and it is not beyond repair now.
