Post subject: Rudder servo buzz |
|
|
I have just installed a new gyro and now the rudder servo is buzzing. I have noticed that the buzz volume is related to the gain adjustment from my DX6i gyro setting. The lower the gain the softer the buzz. The Gyro is a Detrum GY48V with an Esky digital servo 000155 (Belt CPv2 stock). All switches are set according to the set-up and it's not a binding issue.
Hovering is quite stable.
Should I worry about the buzz _________________

Hi,is the gyro a Heading Hold/Yaw Rate,if its doing it in HH setting and not doing it in Yaw rate, then its more than likely the gyro just keeping the servo in the set position, nearly all the ones i have had do this in HH setting, and it is normal, but just make sure its not binding, and also make certain, that your gyro is not set to Digital,IF you are useing an ANALOGUE
servo, otherwise that will destroy the servo real fast.
