Awhile back someone posted a link to ebay with 12.9 t-rex screws. I can't remember who that was, but that you for the link.

I am looking for an assortment of such screws, varying sizes and such. I also need various sizes of regular silver star tip screws and tiny washers. Any ideas where I could get a complete kit with a ton of screws in one place?

Also, I have some hex screw locking bolts that have stripped their heads but are, for now, where they should be and tightened correctly. However I will need to replace them eventually. What methods do you guys use to pull out stuck hex screws and retaining bolts? The bolts are like the retainers that hold the pinion gear in place. I have many, and at least 3 of them were already stripped before I got them.

On the bright side...I completely disassembled the helis gear and electronics, refitted and tested belt/pinion for correct settings. Installed rear rotor shaft, all new servos and a host of other bits and ends, in under 2 hours. Yaaay!

I assume the E-Razor is a T-Rex clone? if it is then these should help alot, I have these and very glad I have 'em. When you go to the site to look at the tap and drill set you will individual ones also, if you do not want to get the set.

Get this screw set, it is well worth it!

Getting a stripped screw out:

1.) The way I usually do it is use a Dremel tool,... put a cutter disc on it and cut a slot in the head for a flat tip screwdriver.
2.) Drill a small hole in the head, just enough the get a Phillips screwdriver in there a bit deeper.
3.) JB Weld a nut the same size as the head of the screw, leave the sides of the nut clear so that after the weld dries you can get a nutdriver on it and unscrew the offending bolt.
4.) Here is one I just found out...get a rubber band, a wide one, put it over the screwhead, put the screwdriver on the rubber band and press damn hard into the screw, un-screw the screw!
5.) Go to hardware store and get a "Screw Extractor".

Remember, no matter what you do to get it out, you need to apply heat to the screw IF you have Loc-tite on it!!!!!!! Best way is either a soldering iron, or one of those pen size butane torches. You need to melt the Loc-tite is what I am getting at. Wink

Its not a t-rex clone but does use many similar parts. I'm sure the t-rex screw set would work, thanks!

....now to figure out the stripped screw heads...I think the JB weld would work best as these things are tiny, so cutting/notching is going to be difficult at best.
