I bought 4 copters for 15 quid, so bargain really l, although was aware they might not work. Of which there are 3 double horse 9053 (2 are working) and mentioned t34 which am trying to repair.
Will have another look at circuit boards but couldn't see any problems there. Lights on the tail do flash only one doesn't which is not a problem as long as its only for decoration.
And I know transmitter is 27khz but there is no notification on the receiver. battery on transmitter showes 4.7v

15 Quid for 3 double horse and one T-34 think you may have yourself a bargin, ok let’s get this T34 up in the air, normally when T-34 dose not fly it’s down to the main gear’s, but in your case, we have faulty T-34 not responding to transmitter input. My first thought do you have the T-34 transmitter or three double horse transmitters, you will not tell by looking at the T-34 circuit board, as the only chip that goes is when trying to connect more tail rotors.

I've got 2 9053 transmitters and 1 for t34 on which says 27khz. Just checked all joints on both transmitter and receiver board and they look solid to me.

Other thought I've got is that I was charging copter battery with 9053 charger so maybe that's the problem but then I think it should connect and eventually not powered enough to fly

T-34 board looks absolutely fine, but using the 9053 battery charger at 7.2v at 65mHz to charge the T-34 battery at 7.4v 1100 mHz may be your down fall, not enough power in your T-34 battery to bind to the transmitter.

What if I take 9053 battery and connect it to t34 to check if it works? Would that be OK or is there any risk to the copter

No risk as this is lower power battery, if this does bind to the receiver solid red light, you will need a new T-34 battery to get this to fly at half the price of your triple bargain still not bad.

If you're using the 7.4v 1100mAh then try a 7.4v 1300mAh LI-PO battery, look on ebay.com have seen them priced around £11.00.

PostPost subject: T34 Tail Blade mod

Hi, as you will tell from my question, I am new to all things rc helicopter related ....

Anyway, I have the MJX T34 copter and was looking at all of the discussion about inverting the tail rotor blade and adding the additional rotor blade as per the various entries from TREV and I have a silly question !

If I invert just the tail rotor blade/housing, won't this affect the operation on the controller, i.e. swap forward and backward controls around ??

In other words to go forwards you will have to pull the right controller stick down and to go backwards push up !

I will watch the video's posted by TREV to see all that he has done for the mod, but not sure if this is something that everyone but me seems to just get ! lol
