Hello Bill and welcome to the forum.
Upper case founts are hard to read, so can you use lower case please.
Can you describe the nature of the problem.
Do you have the computer software program for setting-up your Flysky 6CH 2.4GHz FS-CT6B Transmitter?

Bill,
For numerous reasons, there really isn't any default settings for the type of transmitter you have, or any other transmitter.
So, if you don't have the computer program for changing the settings in the transmitter, did you turn one or both knobs on the front of the transmitter?
Is the helicopter not lifting off, or is it spinning round and round?

Thanks Keith, some useful links there....From what Bill has written, I think it might be just a case of re-tuning VR (B) gyro gain, and or VR (A) pitch adjustment.
Bill...buddy just tell-us what happened with your helicopter.

Spinning round and round usually has more to do with gyro than transmitter settings. Can you tell us the make and model of your gyro?
Have you made any other changes other than setting in the transmitter?
Which setting in the transmitter have been changed?

Ok...you'll need go through a complete setting up procedure.
The most important aspect of setting up any helicopter is levelling the swashplate. The swashplate must maintain perpendicularity to the main shaft throughout its full movement up and down.
The swashplate must be level at the zero degrees collective pitch (mid-stick) position in Idle-Up flight mode and all three servo arms must be perpendicular to the main shaft. To achieve this you will need a swashplate levelling tool, and need to adjust the SubTrims for channel 1, 2, & 6.
Then you will need to level the swashplate at the top of its stroke (top-stick) position, to achieve this you will need to adjust the top End Points for channel 1, 2, & 6.
Then you will need to level the swashplate at the bottom of its stroke (bottom-stick) position, to achieve this you will need to adjust the bottom End Points for channel 1, 2, & 6.
There are no default settings for these adjustments.
In the full up-stick position, the top of the levelling tool needs to be level with the bottom of the drilling art the top end of the shaft.
Safety Note: Prior to working on setting-up the helicopter, to prevent accidental spool-up disconnect all three ESC leads from the motor.
For best results you will need a pitch gauge and a swashplate levelling tool.
For info on setting-up a the ZD720 gyro see from page 5 in this pdf manual, to stop the helicopter from spinning round and round, change the position of the little toggle switch marked REV and NOR.

Remember to create a folder on your hard drive in which to save your setting files. As you make adjustments remember to save to the same file; when you've done all the settings and the helicopter is flying properly, give that file a relevant name like default. If you want to try different settings open that file, make the changes, then save under a different name.

Hi Bill,
Burgess advise is very sound and should be able to get you up and running. But in this case it may need somebody with experience to actually be hands on to help you, do you have a Local Hobby Shop that could have a look at it for you? or even some video of what it is doing would help. The information your supplying is not helping a great deal. |

Ok, to stop the helicopter spinning round and round, try this...
Look at ZD720 gyro see page 5 in this pdf manual:
http://parkrcmodels.com/instruction/HAU450V2RTF1_version1s.pdf
In the centre of the gyro are two small slide switches:
Top switch DS (digital servo) keep to left OFF position
Lower switch DIR with REV NOR below. Change position of THIS switch.
It changes the direction of gyro response.
Top right pot ‘DELAY' set to 75% for now
Transmitter:
Lefthand switch...set to back
Lefthand knob VR (B) set to 2 O'clock right of centre (in head hold).
NOW try...has spinning stopped?
NEXT:
Does the helicopter respond to rudder stick
Move Rudder stick Left...does the NOSE go to LEFT?
If yes...adjust DELAY pot in small amounts to wards 0% when tail wags then just back-off so the tail hold steady.
