I have the 9104 double horse.The tail rotor motor quit in mid flight.Any U.S. dealers close to south carolina??? Question

May.. someone or Nick finding that he's in CA.
It's sound like many DH9104 tail motor problem. I think because of the heavy load they must against the rather big blades.
So do mine!

If so, it seems that the only online hobby shops that stock it are based in Hong Kong. You bought a Chinese heli, it stands to reason that you may only be able to get parts from China.

Hi there. Was finding the same issues with the DH9104. Goes absolutely GREAT once you get it up and going but not long after a few flights the tail motor gives out and now I need to flick the tail rotor to get it even spinning on startup but as soon as I take off it goes into a full rotor spin. Bad timing as I'm just getting into flying these helis and loving it but now I need tail unit number 3 already ? I'd love to hear from anyone how might have found a stronger replacement motor.
