if the green on the 3n1 is steady the cont. should be good right ? I'm sure I must have broke the board on the RX in my big wreck. One of the motors run full blast when I plug a battery in. It went bad in mid air on broke parts just question. _________________ Nathan Sonnier

Yes
I assumed you are talking about a Spektrum AR6100E receiver with a Spektrum AR6110E receiver. _________________ RC Submarines (3)

Yes that's right.
Do you know any thing about my 3n1 problem? In plug a battery in with on RX connected and the motor still runs. Could it be that with on RX it could be stuck in the run mode _________________ Nathan Sonnier

I'm going to assume that you have the throttle stick all the way down. The motor keeps running anyway.
So I I'll assume that you must of had a crash and the throttle stick was not closed before you hit the ground.
When the power (throttle) is on and the rotor blades can not move because of a crash it can cause a power surge in the Electronics. This will cause an electronic failure. Strange things can happen when this happens. I put a fuse on my old Exceed Falcon 40 V2 to avoid this problem. The fuse would pop rather than the 4-in-1. Now I just close the throttle when a crash is going to happen. The helicopter is going to get messed up so just accept it and shut down what you can.
My guess is you need a new 3-in-1? But I really don't know enough of what has happened or what is working and what is not working.
So it's just a guess. If you going to play with RC helicopters your going to need to do repairs because we all crash. Even the best pilots crash.

Jack I was flying when it happen. I had bad wreck weeks before. I thank I danaged the rx then. When it hit the ground the motor was hung up before it hit. I still thank the rx was bad and went south in the air. This weck was not that bad. Like heat or vabration finshed off _________________ Nathan Sonnier

Yea - You most probably cooked the 3-in-1.
They easy to replace. The cost can sometimes out weigh the thought of replacement or just get a new helicopter.
I hate to scrap anything. I like to repair things so I would go for it and get another 3-in-1.

Hey Sonnier:
Anything that is Blade (E-Flite) you can get parts at Horizion hobby.
www.horizion.com. But they will be the most expensive, However they always have the parts and have a great tech phone line support.
A search on the internet may help you find spares. Sometimes I get spares from China at a greatly reduced price. But then there is a long wait time for delivery.
Good luck in your search.

Jack
I like to fix things also. So I looked into the bad 3n1 cont. What I found was the SS24 rectifier had blown. I found someone on ebay that sales them in lots less then 100 (i need one) the seller is in the UK all total $5.50 for two including shipping. I going to try and fix this one and have a spare cont.. I'll let you know the out come. _________________ Nathan Sonnier
