just put a hitec hs56hb servo on the tail and now i have to once again put it in the NOR mode to fly it. still yaws to the left(tail wanting to go counter clockwise with no input from me) even in this mode. in the regular mode REV it just wants to spin out of control basically. for some reason the tail servo seems to be reversed. anyone have this experience? any ideas? i do love the quickness of this servo tho

Maybe your new tail rotor is configured differently.
That the tail still wants to drift means that the gyro gain is still not set correctly. If it drifts then the gain is too low but if your heli starts to hunt (nose wobble left/right left/right) then the gain is too high. Get the gain right and your tail will be steady. |
