I have been trying to instal a Tarot ZYX S in a flybarless 450 for some weeks and I run into the problem where I cannot get the swashplate to "level" and respond as I would expect. While the servo direction reverses when attached to the receiver, as soon as I attach them to the output of the gyro, they won't reverse. It seems crazy, or am I just going crazy. I find the rudder servo response a little odd. It moves in jerky steps. The gyro is clearly working on all three axiis and the tell tale lights are all fine.

What do you reckon.

Hi, Birdmanpete. I've just set all mine up - Tarot 450 FBL with the ZYX gyro - but I used the programming card. Turned out to be straight forward using the card.

a. Jerky movement on the rudder servo can be expected (I read it somewhere);

b. I didn't understand this bit:

At no time in the setup (or at all) are servos connected to the rx - they are only connected to the gyro after initial setup of the gyro. It's the three gyro leads that go to the rx.

Have a look at this for both stick and programming card setup. It's all I used and it worked.

Hope that helps.

Cheers
