No Burgess. I just sold the Dyna-wide-glide maybe 3 months ago. Farther time has me doing good to just stand up. Keeping my balance while buzzing algo is not in the game plan any more. I really hated giving up my last Harley.
I paid $ 23,000.00 in 2005 and sold it for $ 7,500.00. It was in mint condition.
Just no buyers any more. Harleys are real popular here in Florida but there does not seem to be any money available. The guy that bought it borrowed the whole amount from the bank.
I had it for sale from 5 months. Finally got tired of moving it around the garage and gave it away.
Jack
PS: I least I got to have one (Two that is). Cup is half full. |

I find that scanning at at least 300 DPI then reducing to size after cleaning up works quite well with most film photos. I use Paint Shop Pro for most of my refurbishing work. Unfortunately if the original is out of focus (like my Lincolnshire one was) there is not a lot that can be done.
Sometimes you get a good one, this was my eldest daughter back in 1959 at Rhosneiger, Anglesea on my BSA B33.
Click for full size.
Scanned at 1200 DPI and reduced considerably.

My hat is off to you Mr. Burgess!!! Everything went together well and got the radio set up too. Now we are dealing with a tropical storm with winds 40 to 50 knots. Not too much flying outside. Good for the little guys, coaxial inside, so still flying. Thank you very much!!
Also, I have a 1995 Harley Road King. Before that a 1968 Shovel. It grew wings one day and never saw it again. Oh well, easy come, easy to.
Had a 1969 650 Triumph and loved it!!!
Thank you again for the info. It helped greatly!! And again, my appologies to anyone I might have offended. Thank you!!! Danny |

I don't think anyone way offended Ric, we just don't like to see people go away unhappy, if we can help we will, it's just most of us don't like to step out of our comfort zones, if we don't know the Model your requesting help for we will sit back and wait for a more informed opinion.
Glad to see your up and running and still on the forum. |

Danny,
If you did say anything it's all forgotten now.
Good to have you aboard and active, we are all friends here but like Admiral says, we tend not to step in unless we know the model. On the other hand a request for general advice will usually bring in a flood of answers.

Danny, Good to hear your heli is up and running again.
Both the Road King and Shovel look great bikes.
I've thought of building a chopped OAP mobility scooter, and basing the design on a trike configuration with all three wheels powered by 1kiolwatt brushless outrunners. High rise handlebars with a shopping basket on the back, low ride seat and an over-head hand hoist to get in and out with. Probably wouldn't be allowed back in day centre or Tescos, but it would be great for sand racing along the beach.' ' |
