I just got a new transmitter, for my blade cx2, and tried to bind it. I followed the instructions but the 4in1 just goes to orange when turned on. Everything works but the motors. Anyone know whats up with this.

Sorry I pressed submit too early. What I meant was are you talking about the new blade that comes with a spektrum transmitter? If you bought the whole thing as a set then there'd be no problem. If you only bought the transmitter, then it won't work with your old blade because the old blade doesn't come with a spektrum receiver. The new spektrum transmitter needs to work with a spektrum receiver. I think you can get a spektrum receiver separately though.

Then I think there must some issue with the receiver as well. Perhaps you should take the whole set to your LSH and ask for a completely new set or ask for a refund. If not, you can try your luck with another specktrum receiver. But I really don't believe you should have to pay anymore, I think your shop has a responsibility to replace defective products for you.
