I received a helicopter from my out of town cousin but I have one issue that I am trying to resolve so I can fly my first Helicopter…yup I am chomping at the bit.
http://www.bananahobby.com/1831.html
I received my EC-135 charged the battery, turned on the transmitter, and plugged the battery into the Heli. The red light on the tail came on…hmmm battery is fully charged, so I tried my backup battery…same thing. Inside the light goes from red to green for a 2-3 sec then back to red and holds there. Tried to look online to see if there was a fix online but did not see one so any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Have a Happy and Healthy New Years
Thank you in advance

Steve:
Most electric helicopters have a ESC (electronic Speed Control). There is a specific procedure for activeating the ESC.
Be sure both your TX and helicopter batteries are fully charged. Turn on the TX first with the left stick (Throttle) all the way down. Also the left stick trim tab should also be all the way down. Then plug in the helicopters battery. If nothing happens when this is done and you apply power with the left stick. Hold the helicopter to the ground with one hard and slowly move the throttle stick all the way up then all the way down again. Now slowly see if you are getting power to the rotors when you start to apply throttle again. This proceedure is setting the throttle curve. Try this and see if it gets you going. If not we may have to rebind the helicopters tx to the rx.

Flashes are normally not Bound Tx - Rx ...
Go through Bind procedure first ... even if this is done at factory as it should be - it does not harm to do it again.
Once done try it ...
If no joy then I would correct PJDog ... sorry ... but to program throttle range - you need to put Throttle stiock to FULL after switching on Tx and BEFORE powering Rx ... OK - you have Tx with throttle stick at max position .. now power up Rx / Heli and you should hear a beep a few secs after powering - as soon as you hear that beep .... bring throttle stick back to minimum ... another beep ... then a series of beeps for next program step ... DO NOTHING ... wait for the little bit of music - which is finish of programming and signals all is ready to go.
NOW try throttle ...
I usually switch opf both Tx and Rx after programming - to ensure all is reset.
Make sure when switching on after setting throttle / program steps that you have throttle stick at minimu ... the trim does not affect this programming ....
Cheers and Happy New Year ... _________________ If you don't crash - you ain't flying !

THANK YOU I watched a U-tube clip on how to bind my hellicopter and it worked. After some bouncing around I hovered for a min before a controled landing...a bit rough but still controlled. Flight one no damage to me, my house or my hellicopter...for me thats a step in the right direction
Thanks for all your help.

I stand corrected on the setting the throttle. You must have the throttle a full to set the curve.
Thanks there for the correction solentlife. It's been a while.
