Greetings..am proud or foolish owner of a walkera cb 100....
I have got it up and flying...but it does rotate while hovering on its tail and even though slowly sometimes...its not as should be....trimming to max the rudder as yet does not work.
Also the rear motor does not always kick in......as main rotor fires up.....how can i proceed......am new to this digital rc that comes with it.
Can anyone help. Hurrah for crash skids...mine sure bounced.....but also flew and not wildly. .Some control...but hover...not quite....desperate for answers
Thanks |

Hi crashitquick,
I think "Tail Motor" is the key here. They do mostly have a limited life, not all but enough. Check out the tail rotor for freedom of movement, prop secure on its shaft - no slip, and wires solidly soldered on.
If all that is as it should be then your control circuits are not working correctly or the motor is worn out.

Had the same problem. Resoldering tail ESC helped, not just wires but PCB. |

If you don't bind the Tx with the heli Rx properly the tail motor will not always work. I had similar issue with my Walkera, still figures out i wasn't binding it the right way. In a nut shell....Turn on the TX... listen for the beep...then plug it the battery (throttle and trim on lowest setting on the Tx)......wait for the Tx to beep again and the LCD screen will stop blinking. You should be properly bound then. Go through the Tx manual throughly!! you may need to set the EXP settings for the tail/gyro motor to low. |
