Post subject: v200d02 tail keeps spinning |

hi guys this is my first post i have had this heli for a couple of months everything was fine for a while,broke a few tail rotors now using airy hardened ones .it was ok one day then it just started spinning have changed tail motor and receiver but it still spins,tx (mode 2) rudder will only move the tail one way any help please  |

If the rudder is only moving the tail one way that the servo is either broken or you have to change the servo arm so that the tail rotor servo has can travel. What might have happened was the crash knocked the servo arm all the way to one side. |

thanks for that the only problem is it does'nt have a tail servo only 4 channel heli i thought it may be the tx? any thoughts on that one! cheers |

hi shandy
i dont know that heli but there could be an adjuster pot on the receiver that designates how much power goes to the main motor and how much power to the tail. if you have fitted a new receiver on the heli it might need adjusting. whether you need to turn the pot to + or - will depend which way your heli is spinning. if it spins c/w it will need - . if it spins cc/w you will need +. you might have to disconnect and reconnect the battery after each adjustment for it to take effect. turn the screw only small amounts at a time till you hit the sweet spot. |

thanks for the input this heli has everything built into the receiver gyro etc it has a shaft driven tail from it's own motor.at present i think it could be the tx at fault i have contacted helipal about this problem and i am waiting for a reply. anymore thoughts keep them coming cheers |
