I might build a BEAM E4 and want to know if any body has any ideas on what engine, servos, transmitter, esc, reciever, gyro combinations I should go with, or what is posible to go with
also maybe some tips on how to go about sellecting what components would suit my needs. |

Most of the 450 class heli's use the same parts.....
HS65mg's on the cyclic, a good digital servo for the tail, Futaba 9257 or the JR 290G are good, Jr has one that is metal geared, I think it's the 287MG? Don't remember, I'd have to look at my heli to tell you.
Gyro's, either the Futaba 401 or my favorite, the Logictech 2100T.
Radio's are kind of a personal choice. I prefer Futaba, have been using them for over 20 years.. The new 7C is a great radio, and very user friendly.
For the ESC I would recomend the Pheonix 35, and get the usb cable for it, so you can program it on your computer instead of counting beeps and moving the throttle stick around.
Motors....hmm, not sure there, again it's a personal preference. If you want power, then get the Hacker A20, you won't be dissapointed.
